Out of Hours Appointments

Did you know you can now book appointments with a GP weekday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, Saturday's and Sunday's and also weekend evenings at one of the Rotherham Hubs.

If you wish to be seen at any of the Hubs (Dinnngton, Broom Lane, Magna Surgery) please contact the surgery for a member of staff to book you into one of the available slots. When booking the appointment a member of staff will ask you the following questions,

  • Reason for appointment
  • Consent for 3rd party access to your clinical records (without this you will not be able to attend the HUBS).
  • Do you require a chaperone.
  • Is this an ongoing problem. (Please note the appointment won't be booked if it is an ongoing problem you are seeing the GP about).
  • Up to date contact telephone number.

Dementia Friendly

We are now a Dementia Friendly Practice

All the staff at the Practice have now undergone Dementia Awareness training, to enable the Practice to became a Dementia Friendly Practice.  We all wear our badges with pride.

Should a family member, loved one or friend be diagnosed with Dementia the practice is here to help, please as a member of staff for a Carers pack.  This is filled with useful information, names and addresses of organisation, visitors books, who I am leaflet and a lot more.

All patients that are on the practice dementia register have a blue star on thier medical notes to ensure that everyone working at the practice is aware of the needs of the patient and allow extra time and patience.

Also don't forget to inform us if you are a carer, you will then be asked to complete a carers form and this information  can added to both your medical records and the patient you carer for.

The Carers Resilience Service hold monthly drop in meetings at the surgery, to offer help and advise to anyone who cares for a patient with Dementia.

For more information and a carers pack ask at reception.
