The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
After any tests have been undertaken and the results have been received by the surgery should the GP wish to see you regarding them you will be sent a letter requessting you to make an appointment.
Please do not be alarmed if you receive a letter about your tests. It only means there is something to discuss, and could mean we need to arrange further tests, an appointment with a nurse, or something else. It does not necessarily mean that there is something seriously wrong!
