Coronavirus

All  routine until further appointments, will be telephone consultation.  Please ensure when booking an appointment you give the surgery an up to date contact number.  Should you need a face to face appointment the doctor will book you in following your telephone consultation.

You can now book face to face appointments with the Plebotomist and Practice Nurse.

The Surgery will be closed on the following afternoons from 12.30 pm for staff training

Out of Hours Appointments

Did you know you can now book appointments with a GP weekday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, Saturday's and Sunday's and also weekend evenings at one of the Rotherham Hubs. 

If you wish to be seen at any of the Hubs (Dinnngton, Broom Lane, Magna Surgery) please contact the surgery for a member of staff to book you into one of the available slots. When booking the appointment a member of staff will ask you the following questions, 

  • Reason for appointment
  • Consent for 3rd party access to your clinical records (without this you will not be able to attend the HUBS).
  • Do you require a chaperone.
  • Is this an ongoing problem. (Please note the appointment won't be booked if it is an ongoing problem you are seeing the GP about). 
  • Up to date contact telephone number. 

Appointments

At this present time the majority of our consultations are telephone consultations, with face to face appointments booked by the clinician if they clinically feel you need to be seen.

We operate a 10 minute appointment system for all GP consultations.  If you require an appointment that will take longer than 10 minutes please ensure you request a double appointment.

  • Should you not be able to keep an appointment please make every endeavour to cancel it so that it can be given to someone else.
  • If you have a preference for a GP you must be aware that you may have to wait longer for an appointment.

We offer a late evening surgery from 6:30pm - 7:30pm this is strictly on an appointment only basis.

The practice offers 3 early morning GP surgeries.  These are held on a Monday,Tuesday and Friday morning from 07:10 - 08:00 and are run by Dr Cobb, Dr Gunasereka and Dr Rebora. No other practice services are available outside of our core hours. If you require an appointment during these clinics please speak to our reception team.

Weekday evenings, Saturday and Sunday Appointments 

If you are unable to attend the appointments during the week then you can book to see a GP at one of our Saturday Hubs (Dinnington, Broom Lane Medical Centre and Magna Surgery) Monday to Friday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, Saturday's and Sundays. If you wish to book one of these appointments please contact the surgery and speak with a member of staff.  (Please note these appointments are not bookable via the practice on line services)
