Until further notice.  Do Not come to the surgery.  We have cancelled all routine face to face appointments.  Appointments booked with a GP will be converted to a telephone consultation, the doctor will call you on the number we hold on your record, if this is incorrect please contact the surgery.

All nurse clinics (including Phlebotomy) have also been cancelled until further notice.  We will be contacting you at a later date with a new appointment.

The Surgery will be closed on the following afternoons from 12.30 pm for staff training

Out of Hours Appointments

Did you know you can now book appointments with a GP weekday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, Saturday's and Sunday's and also weekend evenings at one of the Rotherham Hubs. 

If you wish to be seen at any of the Hubs (Dinnngton, Broom Lane, Magna Surgery) please contact the surgery for a member of staff to book you into one of the available slots. When booking the appointment a member of staff will ask you the following questions, 

  • Reason for appointment
  • Consent for 3rd party access to your clinical records (without this you will not be able to attend the HUBS).
  • Do you require a chaperone.
  • Is this an ongoing problem. (Please note the appointment won't be booked if it is an ongoing problem you are seeing the GP about). 
  • Up to date contact telephone number.

On Line Access

Have you thought about applying for on line access, this will allow you to manage your health needs at a time convenient to you.  This service allows you to -

a. Book and cancel appointments with a GP

b. Order repeat medication

c. Access coded data held in your medical records.

Applying could not be simpler, all you need to do is call into surgery with Photo Identification and complete an on line access form, once completed you will be posted out a user name and password to access via this website the above services.

Using this service allows you to book / cancel appointments and order repeat medication outside of surgery hours.  Therefore allowing you to take control of your health needs.

Practice Manager is very helpful. Willing to help people understand their patient notes, even when the person my not be a member of that surgery. All my family are at this practice and all have only good things to say.

Very good service. The staff always know you names. I have a care plan in place. The receptionists are flexibly and always listen.  Can always get an appointment on the same day. The GPs are very pro-active working with my long-term condition.

From the 10th June 2014 should you require urgent medical Out of Hours assistance which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens please call 111 (this is a free phone number from both landlines and mobiles).   If you have a life threatening medical emergency please dial 999
